国外名家经典英文诗：沙丘　　Sea waves are green and wet,
　　But up from where they die,
: s( Z+ Z5 x) z+ J/ v　　Rise others vaster yet,
  ^6 I# I* |1 ~& P% N　　And those are brown and dry.
　　海浪是绿色的潮湿的
6 j3 Q3 ~* G9 a+ S+ S" J( F9 {　　但在它们平息的处所，
　　依然卷着更大的浪涛
) i) f8 z, R" A　　而且是褐色的干燥的。
　　They are the sea made land
　　To come at the fisher town,
/ g' ~0 l8 t3 Z  {1 J7 e& a& G　　And bury in solid sand
　　The men she could not drown.
　　那是变成沙丘的海洋
　　涌进渔夫栖息的村镇，
3 |: C  n( u1 k. Q  y　　想用坚硬的沙子掩埋
　　海水不能淹死的人们。
　　She may know cove and cape,
( n6 @* x% Y/ t$ F- X7 L　　But she does not know mankind
' z3 {( w4 ]# ]) k; N　　If by any change of shape,
9 B. ?0 J. Z' n. T/ f) Y5 M/ i! K. O　　She hopes to cut off mind.
　　海或许了解自身远近

　　And be but more free to think

　　人们留给它一条小船
　　供它摇晃甚至去吞没;
